ControlPoint, Inc. One of Nine Finalists at Global Innovation Showcase

Campbell, Calif. –  ControlPoint, Inc., an animal diagnostics company focused on developing tests that could be used by anyone, anywhere, has been selected as one of nine finalists to present at the World Point of Care Conference and At Home Diagnostics Summit. The conference will be held in San Diego Nov. 30 – Dec. 1, 2022.

Finalists were chosen by the conference’s executive selection committee consisting of representatives from Artiman Ventures, Innosphere Ventures, Genoa Ventures and Sanofi. Of the 20 applicants, ControlPoint was selected to present their innovative diagnostic technology followed by a Q&A with the conference judging panel.

“Being selected as a finalist is an honor and a challenge,” ControlPoint CEO Paula Walker explained. “We will be sharing our concept with some of the most innovative judges in the point-of-care industry.”

Formed in 2020, ControlPoint is currently developing a point-of-care test for multiple pathogens by which veterinarians can be confident in their diagnosis of CIRD. The test will be easy-to-use, fast, and will provide results for a wide range of pathogens, allowing veterinarians to expand their practice, increase their margins and provide better patient care.

“We have an opportunity to ensure the lives and well-being of animals are greatly improved through the point-of-care tests we are currently developing,” added Walker. “Seeing the product tested and making refinements is the next milestone in the exciting launch process.”
